Operational Packaging Supervisor

The Packing manager leads, plans, and optimizes our packaging department while collaborating with production and quality teams to deliver premium products.

You Drive operational excellence and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. You are operationally involved while managing the facility

What you’ll do

Coordinate, motivate and lead a team of 5 packaging operators
Ensure quality standards are met and improve where necessary.
Handle the packaging and labelling machines.
Ensure smooth transitioning between products and organize your team throughout the day
Tackle small technical issues to enable continuous production.
You are responsible for welcoming new employees and ensure acurate training with an accompanying training plan.

What you bring

Preferably a minimum of 2 year experience in a leading function
Experience in the food industry
You work precisely and are keen on keeping an eye on quality
You take responsibility for your work and team and work pro-actively
You communicate easily in dutch and are comfortable in providing feedback to your colleagues and guide them to improve.
You can handle pressure and think pro-actively about solutions and priorities.
You have technical affinity with machinery
